Acceptance
By creating an account or using Subtitle Extractor (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Subtitle Extractor transcribes uploaded audio and video into subtitle files. Accuracy depends on audio quality, language, and other factors; the Service is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.
Your content and responsibilities
- You retain ownership of the media you upload and the subtitles you generate.
- You confirm that you have the rights to upload and transcribe the content you submit.
- You agree not to use the Service for unlawful content or in ways that infringe others' rights.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe.
- Each plan includes a monthly transcription quota (measured in minutes of media). Quotas reset at the start of each calendar month.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Acceptable use and limits
To keep the Service reliable for everyone, we apply reasonable limits, including a maximum upload size and rate limits on how frequently jobs can be started. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or attempt to circumvent these limits.
Data and privacy
Uploaded files are deleted after processing and are never used to train models. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
